May training kicks off retail assessment project

Coalition and Network coordinators and volunteers attended trainings on May 9 and 10 in preparation for a new tobacco retail assessment project in 2017. The interactive trainings, led by Counter Tools, outlined why retail assessment is important, what the assessment includes, and how to conduct the assessment. Activities included quizes, group presentations, a simulated assessment, and presentations on alcohol and nutrition retail assessments.
