New information on national and state tobacco use is available on tobwis.org and on the Tobacco Prevention & Control Program web page. The resources include updated versions of the Data Look, Disparities Stat Shot, and the 2016 BRFSS fact sheet. Each of the three documents provides current information related to tobacco use in disparate populations. In addition, the sheets also highlight the use of other tobacco products, including e-cigarettes. According to the 2016 BRFSS, e-cigarette use among adults rose from 14% in 2015 to 24% in 2016.
