Environmental Strategies: Addressing Teen Tobacco and Alcohol Use - Resource CD
TOB076
Environmental strategies are a proven, powerful way to address alcohol and tobacco problems by changing the social and physical environment in which we live. This toolkit is a starting point for parents, policymakers, health professionals, law enforcement and others who are concerned with the well being of children and the consequences of underage drinking and tobacco use. It describes research-based prevention strategies geared toward youth that have been proven to work nationally and locally. The toolkit was developed by the Wisconsin Clearinghouse for Prevention Resources in collaboration with several partners, including American Indian Development Associates (AIDA), Leadership to Keep Children Alcohol Free, Northwoods Coalition (Center for Community Outreach, Marshfield Clinic), SmokeFree Wisconsin, and UW Cooperative Extension - Local Program Evaluation in Tobacco Control. 2004.
