Jessi Corcoran is the Resource and Narrative Development Coordinator at the UW Population Health Institute, a collaborative position with the Department of Health Services. She has a B.A. in English and Gender Studies from Indiana University and a Master of Public Health from Boston University. Her studies focused primarily on sexual violence prevention and response, sexual health promotion, and the intersections of health and oppression. Jessi brings experience developing health communications and data visualization resources at Boston University and UW-Platteville. Jessi’s professional ambition is to integrate a social justice lens into public health work.
