Impact Stories: Alliance engages youth voices through digital storytelling that addresses teen vaping

In 2021, the Northwest Wisconsin Lung Health Alliance partnered with InProgress artist Kris Sorensen, who provided virtual coaching to Superior High School and Northwestern Middle School students. The partnership resulted in youth-developed digital art that includes messages about the impact of vaping from the teen perspective. The art—which included videos, posters, and even a graphic novel—was shared regionally and statewide. Senior High School students also presented their work to the school board, garnering front page media coverage in June.

Congrats on this success, Northwest Wisconsin Lung Health Alliance!
