Name Change + Related Resources
The CTPTP program name change communications are complete. Wisconsin DHS recently posted a Facebook video message that explains the context and rationale for this change.

Fewer Silos in Wisconsin?
Not the kind that store sileage, but the way we work together on paid media, earned media, and policy conversations. CTPTP communications initiatives are striving to not only invite Wisconsinites to prevent or quit tobacco and nicotine use, but also join in important discussions about the commercial tobacco landscape in Wisconsin.
- August will bring a refreshed version of the Education Packet and a series of tools to help share out those important ideas and talking points.
- The All Flavorings, Including Menthol CTPTP web content is in development. As part of this project, a storytelling initiative has been launched to allow for people from all walks of life to express the impact of flavorings on them and their communities. You will have creative assets to share these stories across the state and encourage valuable conversations.
- A Tobacco 21 research project is underway to gauge the impact of the existing paid campaign and the current perceptions around Wisconsin’s lack of a T21 state law. The results of this work will extend beyond the paid campaign and into outreach and education.
REMINDER FROM JUNE NEWS TO USE
CTPTP has a New Smoke-Free Air Webpage
Last month, the Smoke-Free Air webpage went live on the Wisconsin DHS website within the CTPTP section. This page will serve as a depository for trusted information about smoke-free air. Please refer folks in your communities to this page as you do educational outreach about the need to expand protection in our local and state smoke-free air laws to include e-cigarettes and cannabis. Contact Gina Larsen if you have ideas about how to improve or add to this web page.
