I am the Tobacco Disparities and Health Equity Coordinator for the Tobacco Prevention and Control Program at Wisconsin Department of Health Services. In this role, I; a) Provide leadership, consultation and oversight, b) Establish and maintain a system that will institutionalize health equity policies, programs, and activities, and c) Coordinate regular communication to promote health equity and enhance awareness to eliminate commercial tobacco-related disparities. I have a Bachelor of Science in psychology and cellular and molecular biology, Master of Public Health with a focus in Community and Behavioral Health Promotion, and a Graduate Certificate in Maternal and Child Health. I have a passion for mixed-methods research strategies, health equity-focused efforts, and maternal and child health.
