Nina Gregerson (she/her) serves as a Health Education Coordinator for Public Health Madison and Dane County (PHMDC). Nina has worked on tobacco and nicotine prevention efforts, housing equity, and PHMDC’s 2020 Community Health Needs Assessment and Community Health Improvement Plan. In addition to her work with the health department, she is a UW-Madison instructor for an Intro to Public Health undergraduate course and a mentor for students pursuing their Masters in Public Health at UW-Madison. Nina has extensive knowledge and skills in systems, policy, and environmental change strategies, community engagement, and health and racial equity. She received her undergraduate degree in Community Health Education from UW-La Crosse (2013) and her Master’s in Public Health from UW-Madison (2016). She also maintains a Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES) certificate.
