CDC Celebrates 10 Years of the Tips From Former SmokersĀ® Campaign with New Ads

2022 marks the 10th anniversary of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) successful Tips From Former Smokers campaign. For the past decade, the campaign has shared the real stories of people suffering from tobacco-related illness in an effort to encourage others to quit. To say the campaign has been successful would be an understatement. Tips has helped over 1 million Americans quit smoking over the last decade, and inspired millions more to quit. Now, the campaign is back with new ads that not only show the effects of tobacco-related disease on the individuals themselves, but also on their families. The new round of ads are scheduled to run in Wisconsin and nationwide through September.
