The national LGBT HealthLink has debuted new posters in the vein of the CDC's "Tips from Former Smokers" campaign to encourage LGBT tobacco users to quit. The posters feature real former smokers who identify as LGBT talking about their quitting journey, including what motivated them to quit, tobacco's toll on LGBT individuals, how they avoid cravings, and what they do with their free time now that they've quit.
The posters are especially timely since June is Pride Month, but they are not specific to Pride Month and can be used year round. LGBT HealthLink suggests partners use them at LGBT events, sporting events, celebrations, and other events. The posters are available for LGBT Health Link members. The posters can also be customized to include additional logos.
