New Surgeon General Report Focuses on Cessation

On Thursday, January 23, U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Jerome Adams released a report encouraging commercial tobacco users to quit and doctors to ask and advise their patients to quit. The new Surgeon General report is the first to focus on the topic of cessation in 30 years. The report details the short and long-term benefits of quitting, as well as outlining the most effective ways to quit.
