Tobacco products hiding in plain sight take center stage in new Tobacco is Changing ads

New video ads for Wisconsin's Tobacco is Changing campaign recently debuted, with new digital ads scheduled to debut the week of March 16. Like previous campaign materials, the ads focus on candy and fruit-flavored tobacco products and deceptive packaging, but this time Tobacco is Changing is also drawing attention to hoodies and backpacks that hide e-cigarettes as well as e-cigarettes that look like everyday items like makeup compacts and smart watches. Other ads focus on issues like Menthol and the targeting of vulnerable populations.

Parents and mentors should visit to learn more about these products, and the policies that can prevent youth tobacco use. School resources are also available at the site.
